I like how he talks about tribal initiation rituals which, coincidentally i saw on river monsters in Papua New Guinea last night they had footage of the ceremony and the temple where human sacrifices and cannibalism used to place.

ReplyDeleteSecound link: Interesting story. I like how he talks about a boy being taken by the "gods" (really men in masks) and then there is a time when the kid has to fight a man in a mask, and the man lets the kid win. I like the story of the ritual and the professional writer way it is told.
Third link: I like the detailed descriptions of the mythlogical births, the "inevitable order takes over". Great line!
Third link is very interesting it tells about the maya and the aztecs and teir power.
